Is your child curious about where their food comes from? Do they have a budding interest in agriculture and the environment? Moore's Farms in Ayr, Ontario, is thrilled to offer the Junior Farmer Immersion 8 Part Workshop Series, a hands-on program designed to ignite a passion for farming and sustainability in young minds.
What to Expect:
Hands-On Learning:
Engage in activities like planting, harvesting, and caring for crops, providing a comprehensive understanding of farm life.
Sustainable Practices:
Learn about eco-friendly farming techniques that promote environmental stewardship.
Creative Exploration:
Participate in nature-inspired art projects, blending creativity with agriculture.
Farm-to-Table Experience:
Discover the journey of food from the soil to the table, emphasizing healthy eating and nutrition. Enjoy farm fresh snacks & lunch provided by The Longhorn Smokehouse. Take home activities & fresh produce.

There are 8 full day workshops in this series, for ages 6-12. Drop off is between 8:30am-9:00am. Pick up is between 3:30pm-4:00pm. Lunch and snacks are provided by The Longhorn Smokehouse, on location. Lunch orders can be made on the registration.
Workshops are $65 (+Tax) each, due at time of registration.
Full Series can be purchased for $520 (+Tax), 50% is due at time of registration.
Once registration form is complete, our staff will reach out to confirm and arrange payment with you.
